Meet the team at Movement Health & Wellness

The team at Movement is small by design — because good care starts with actually knowing the person in front of you. You'll be seen, heard, and treated as an individual, not a case.

Jess Milsom — Clinic Owner, Chiropractor, Strength & Conditioning Coach

Jess grew up on the Northern Beaches and has spent most of my life in or near the ocean. Surf lifesaving as a kid, weekends at the beach, early mornings in the water before clinic — the coast has always been where she feels most at home. That connection to movement is really where everything started for Jess.

After completing her Certificate III & IV in Fitness on a scholarship alongside her HSC, Jess spent several years working as a personal trainer. Working closely with people through injury and recovery made her want to understand the body more deeply — which eventually led her to Macquarie University, where she completed a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic. Since then Jess has completed further courses specialising in Sports Chiropractic.

Timon Kaufman - Physiotherapist and Chiropractor

Timon is a physiotherapist and chiropractor, registered with AHPRA in both professions. He completed a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie University, then returned to Macquarie to complete a Master of Physiotherapy.

Before adding physiotherapy to his training, Timon spent three years working as a chiropractor across the Northern Beaches and North Shore. Training in both professions gives him a broad set of assessment and treatment tools, so he can choose the approach that suits the person in front of him.

Timon has a particular interest in persistent pain: back, neck and joint pain that has hung around longer than expected. He has completed further training in this area, including GLA:D Back and courses with pain educator Ben Cormack. His approach combines a clear explanation of what's going on, hands-on care where it helps, and a graded plan to rebuild confidence and capacity.

Outside the clinic, Timon is a keen surfer, and you'll often find him in the gym or on the golf course. He enjoys working with casual athletes and everyday people who want to keep doing the things they love.

With backgrounds in both chiropractic, physiotherapy and strength and conditioning, we look at the whole picture — not just the area that's causing you pain. We want to understand what's driving the problem before we do anything about it.

At Movement we’re not interested in keeping anyone in care longer than necessary. We'd much rather give you the tools to understand your body and stay well on your own. You'll always know what we've found, what the plan is, and why.
